This gear will allow you to turn accurate metric gears on a 7x mini-lathe. It will require an alternate banjo arrangement which I have included photos of.It also provides finer feed, 0.0025(406 tuns/inch) vs 0.0039(256 TPI) with the default 20-80/20-80. And my new banjo is simpler to adjust. If you look at my banjo. it is easier to adjust even if you don't use the big gear for production. I have been using this gear for years now, printed in PLA. Even the prototype I printed at lower infill has held up well. Ernie. The FWD and reverse gears for the mini-lathe, printed in PLA have been working for years also. The gears for the mini-mill only worked long enough to finish milling the motor mount for the belt drive, even when printed out of ABS.

I am moving my projects here from Thingiverse because they have become tedious and difficult to use. I hope MMF will become a better solution. I'm thinking of getting a resin printer.
