Edit: 1/13/2020- I just found out that my model has been "verified". The pictures are not mine, they are of the test print that MMF did. It appears that they hotglued the pieces together. Please read the warning at the end of the description- this "buildablility" does not scale up to full size, nor is this helmet wearable without more work! Please read entire description! This is the Year 1 "Commando Custom" Titan helmet from Destiny. It is full size, and could be made to be wearable. I prepped a Pepekura file before uploading it, the neck hole is about 4.5 by 6.5 inches. My own neck is 14.5 inches in circumfrence and it seems to fit fine. All meshes were extruded to a thickness of 3mm, which I have found to be fairly sturdy for lightly used pieces as long as they are not sat on, chewed on by pets, or dropped. All pieces have been checked by several programs and are water tight and ready for printing.Printing with 3 walls and solid infill has worked for my other similar pieces and is what I plan on using for this as well. This particular project is going to need work if you have a smaller printer. You will need to cut the larger files down to whatever printer size you have. MODIFICATION IS NEEDED.I have NOT put in the needed 50-60 hours remaining, if my other helmet projects are anything to go by:Please be aware that these files are not complete for a wearable helmet. The interference between several of the meshes has not been removed, and as such these files are not simply a "print and glue" project. To make this helmet, you will need to remove material from several pieces. This would be easiest with a dremel and cutoff blade or hobby saw. Remember that cutting/grinding makes plastic hot. There is also no current way to actually get the helmet on, unless you have a very small head. The "neck and back" needs to be plane split from front to back and when assembled needs to be attached with magnets, not glue.

Working on getting the listing fixed, I actually have a 12" Prusa i3V. Just a college age kid with a printer and a custom designed and built CNC. I have been modeling in Solidworks since high school, and could pass the Cert Test if I had the money to pay for it. I also picked up skills in Slic3r, NetFabb, MeshCad, CamBam, and Pronterface in the last few months. I focus mainly on custom costume pieces, but I will make just about anything. I have the skills to make items out of whatever material or weight limits you have, and I have the electronics background to make it come to life as well. Shoot me a message, lets build something!
