Victory (Nikè), Hellenistic period, Attic workshop, comes from the vicinity of the theater of Dionysos in Athens. Musée des Arts et d’Histoire (Musée du Cinquantenaire, Brussels, Belgium). Made with ReMake and ReCap pro from AutoDesk. This fragmentary sculpture depicts Nike, the Victory, in full flight. Garment processing suggests the effects of speed and movement. The wings, which were attached to the upper back and had to deploy backward, have disappeared. Such figures generally stood at the top or at the ends of the pediment of the buildings (acroteria).
