Color:

Allegedly Asia Minor (Turkey), acquired in 1841Marble, 440 - 440 BC The torso is a Greek original from the High Classical period or an excellent copy from the early Roman imperial age. The damages on the surface make it difficult to decide. The statue with a beardless head must most likely be supplemented by a cantharos in the right and a thyrsos staff in the left hand.  This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
