While recently looking around Worcester Cathedral I decided to do a quick scan of the Tomb of King John using the Sony 3D creator app on my mobile phone. This is the result: a limited-detail scan of the carved stone effigy atop the tomb. According to the Worcester Cathedral website (link below) the effigy was created in 1232 AD and is cosidered unusual in being a fairly accurate representation of the king. Apparently the tomb on which it sits is a later addition. And if you don't know: King John is mostly famous due to the Magna Carta and his part in the stories of Robin Hood. http://worcestercathedral.co.uk/King_John.php The scan was done with the Sony 3D Creator app on an Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphone, which did a good job of representing the shape.
