Carved around 1755 and not installed until 1795 in the Allée nord (north alley) of the Bassin d'Apollon in the gardens of Versaiiles, this marble statue title La Clarté (The Clarity) is the work of Italian artist Lazzaro Baldi, born in Pistoia (Tuscany) in 1624 and died in Rome in 1703. The statue was restored in 2008.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
