Mamluk Sphero-conical Vessel: This grapefruit-sized ceramic vessel from the Mamluk period (1200-1500 AD) has thick walls and a small opening for its size. Although there have been a variety of ideas on what these containers might have held and how they were used, there has been no consensus.
