Sledge with Mythological frieze, Second half of the 18th century, Liège (Belgium), wood, sheet, metal. Musée du Cinquantenaire (Brussels, Belgium). Made with ReMake and ReCap from AutoDesk. The crate, semi-circular at the back, marries, at the front, the shape of a shell painted in silver gray. The enveloping back is lined with blue fabric. The seat cushion conceals a storage compartment. The outside of the box is painted in imitation of a reddish-brown and beige marble, bordered by a frieze where mythological creatures of light shade contrast against the dark background. The molded skates describe a pretty S movement and present, at their junction, a carved openwork floral pattern. The ornamental repertoire of this sled, combining elements Louis XV and Louis XVI, encourages to locate it in the second half of the eighteenth century. EN: Scientist passionate of computer graphic and science simulation and visualization. I started doing computer grqphic at 19, in 1993. Passing from POV-RAY to LightWave, Houdini, 3DStudio, 3DS Max, Blender. In 2014, I have started 3D scanning with first a Kinect from Microsoft and afterward moved to photogrammetry. Photogrammetry is more flexible and I use mainly 123D Catch and Memento beta, both from Autodesk. In 2015, I started 3D printing with a Solidoodle Press.
