Sicco Polenton (1375-1447) was an Italian jurist, Neolatin author and Renaissance humanist. As the chancellor of the Municipality of Padua, he collected the authentic copies of documents destroyed in a fire at the city archive. The marble sculpture was created by Danieletti, erected by resolution of the Paduan College of Notaries in 1778.
