Sever Bocu (19th November 1874 - 21st January 1951, Sighet prison) was a Romanian politician, economist, journalist, editor of the Tribuna newspaper of Arad, one of the leaders of the Romanian National Party (then the Democratic National Peasant Party), deputy representative of Banat and the minister of the government of Maniu. In 1917 he edited a Romanian newspaper (Romania Mare) for the prisoner of war camps. After the war he became one of the leaders of the Romanian National Party before being arrested in early May of 1950.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
