Betty Wachsstock Schonfeld was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1954 . She studied at the academy of Bezalel in Jerusalem.  1973-75 - Studies with Prof. Jan de Schutter, from the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.  She wins the Price of Excellency at the International Art Competition of New York in 1988.  In 2005 she was selected for the 2nd Beijing Biennale with the sculpture: CONTINENTS and in 2006, she was selected to participate in the project "2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture – Beijing" with the sculpture: ENCOUNTERS (Credit; Wikipedia)     This object is part of "Scan The World".
