Domenico Bertini (26th June 1829, Lucca, Italy - 1890 Florence) was a famous Italian composer during the 19th Century. This bust is a casting of the original which is housed in the Cattedrale di San Martino. With a cross around the sitter's neck and religious uniform, it is evident that Bertini was close with the church, possibly the Cathedral of San Martino.
