  National Monuments Service Record Number: WA031-045015- Site Type Ecclesiastical Description Site Noted by Raftery (1969, 105) as a 'possible ringfort' but known locally as a killeen. A recent geophysical survey has confirmed the existence of an ecclesiastical enclosure (Purcell 2003, 6-8). Five other ogham stones from this site are now at Mount Melleray Cistercian monastery (CIIC 286-290). Monument Fragment of 'old red sandstone', 0.26m x 0.09m x 0.03m (Raftery 1969, 105). Text Inscription on two angles of this thin fragment. The inscription is clear but not enough survives to identify a name. Transcription [ ... ]UMU T[ ... ] Translation   Commentary Locations Found Discovered during non-archaeological dig in townland of Kilgrovan and barony of Decies without Drum `in surface soil of an earthwork... which was destroyed by bulldozer' (Raftery 1969, 105).
