This is a monument to the hero of the novel by Jonathan Swift ‘Gulliver’s Travels’, it was placed in the courtyard of the Philological Faculty of St. Petersburg State University in November 2007.  This a monument to the literary character Gulliver, the sculpture is composed of a succession of five bronze Gullivers, decreasing in size, all standing within the palm of the previous Gulliver.
