Color:

The small sculpture made of limestone with a colored frame measures approx. 5.3 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm and dates to the New Kingdom (circa 1550-1069 BC), probably into the 19th dynasty (circa 1295 -1186 BC). It was taken over by the Classical Archaeological Institute. The sitting monkey, which has a bag of nuts in front of it, is currently leading one of the nuts to its mouth. The aperture between the animal and the bag is pierced.
