This head was found in the Stoa of Attalos, Athens. The goddess wears the Corinthian helmet with raised cheekpieces adorned with relief ram's heads. It belongs to the Athena Giustiniani type and is a copy made in the 2nd century B.C. of an original dating from 400-390 B.C.
