Color:

Athens (Greece), acquired in 1972Marble, around 330 BC The slightly larger-than-life head of a soldier perfectly matches the fracture on a torso of an armoured man preserved at the National Museum in Athens, which was found in Athens in 1927. The reverse side is not fully executed since the statue is likely to have stood in the recessed niche of a monumental funerary naiskos.  This object is part of "Scan The World".
