Grave stele made of Pentelic marble and found in the district of Kallithea, south of Athens. A girl wearing a peplos holds a bird in her raised right hand. Next to her is a relief loutrophoros. The name of the deceased, Hagnostrate, daughter of Theodotos, is inscribed on the epistyle. She is also depicted on the body of the relief loutrophoros, where she shakes hands with a young relative, Theodoros. The stele probably comes from the funerary enclosure of an Athenian family, that stood on the road leading to the harbour at Phaleron.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
