Dame Elisabeth Frink is one of Britain's leading figurative sculptors. She was born in Thurlow, Suffolk, and studied at Guildford School of Art and Chelsea School of Art, London, where she later returned to teach. Her bronze statues were often of horses or male nudes. Although she was better known for her sculptures, Frink was also an enthusiastic and prolific printmaker. She also undertook a number of public commissions. In 1982 she was created Dame of the British Empire. This sculpture, Goggle Man is one of a series of seven; it is imade of bronze started and completed 1972-59.   This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
