Ancient Egyptian bronze statue of the Goddess Isis, 664 BCE - 30 CE, now in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. From the object’s description on artsmia.org: Isis is the sacred mother figure of ancient Egypt, known as the Mother Goddess, with a dramatic backstory: to conceive her son, she resurrected her murdered husband.
