This fired clay tool was recovered by the Westmoreland Archaeological Society during excavations of the Consol site, a Monongahela village site in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It may have been used to incise pottery vessesl found on the site. Courtesy of the Westmoreland Archaeological Society.
