Greek, perhaps Corinthian, from the Sanctuary of Zeus at Dodona in north-west Greece. The inscription on the right cheek-guard, ΟΛΥΜΙΙ (OLUMP), may suggest the helmet was originally intended for dedication to Zeus at Olympia but was for some reason offered at Dodona instead.
