This is a prehistoric ceramic artifact - a cord-marked rim sherd with hard incised lines, punctates, and dowel marks; from the Brown’s Bottom (33RO1104) hamlet in Ross County, Ohio. The site is a sedentary habitation site dating to the Middle Woodland Period (Hopewell) excavated by Drs. Paul J. Pacheco, Jarrod Burks, and Dee Anne Wymer.
