This vessel is another donation from Gene Bucham and was alleged to be from the Pecan Point area. This unusual jar uses Bell Plain paste and features crude, bold incising over the body.  These incisions, representing wings and a tail are in addition to the modeled tail, which is also incised. We have not seen a comparable specimen. The height of the body is 4 1/4 inches, with the head about two inches taller.
