Phillip King (° 1934 Tunis ) is a British artist. He studied at the Central Martins College of Art and Design In London. For a year, he worked as an assistant to Henry Moore. He also was president of the Royal Academy for 5 years. His early works were small and made in clay and plaster. But from 1962 on, he worked with fibre and made colourful abstract sculptures. In the late eighties, he turned to a more figurative way of working and later on he made ceramics. This work of art can be seen at the Middelheim open air museum in Antwerp.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
