Herman Halliste was an Estonian sculptor. He has created portraits, actiscultures and grave memorials. He uses materials such as granite, wood, bronze and marble to make his sculptures. In the early years of the creation, Halliste created his portrait relief and bust, depicting several musical characters. In the 1930s, along with Halliste's portraits, he successfully worked on figured plaster, created a memorial and built pottery. Women's figures in this period have been most successful in granite.
