Antonio Zacco (Padua, 1654 – 1723). Following a military career Zacco was appointed general of the Venetian Republic. He fought against the Turks, of whom he was a prisoner of war for five years. Back in Venice, he was elected "arms protector" of the Delia Academy. He died in Padua in 1723. This sculpture was designed by Giovanni Battista Bendazzoli, built by the Delii academics in 1776.
