'Language is the more forehead means that Godhead has given to man...' Poet, publicist and revolutionary. Professor at Brasov (1838), Baritiu's collaborator at the Gazeta Transilvaniei (Transylvanian Gazette) and at the Foaie pentru minte, inima si literatura Review (Leaflet for mind, heart and literature). He participated in the Revolution of 1848-1849 in Transylvania; in Sibiu, he was the translator in the official bulletin of the government. He collaborated with the Romanian Telegraph and in 1862 he published his verses in the volume 'From Andrei Muresanu's poems', awarded by ASTRA. This bronze bust of the poet and Transylvanian revolutionary is the work of the sculptor Imre Gyenge from Sigiu.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
