The Monument to Louis XIV is a bronze equestrian statue by the sculptor Francois-Frédéric Lemot located at Bellecour Squre in Lyon, France, dated 1825. This monument is a replacement of a previous statue created by Martin Desjardins in 1713, which was destroyed during the Revolution in 1793. At the base of the pedestal are two canonised statues dating from 1720: The allegories of the Rhone (by Guillaum Coustou) and The Saone (by Nicolas Coustou).
