WARNING!!!!!! See below. With a footprint matching that of a standard business card, the Marblevator "Mini" qualifies for being a miniature version of the original Marblevator. Powered by either a single "AA" battery or a 1.5 volt DC power supply, the Marblevator "Mini" is both mobile and mains capable. Shaky video of the prototype is here (it's so small, it's hard to maintain focus):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNTQV7BDw0&list=UUvzm49u-RjnCJVwhUO-ecA . Slow motion video study of the final version running at higher speed is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyZAGsszO_0.   It starts out normal speed then progresses to slow motion. Slow motion video study with 14 marbles is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Cuei-KCBec. The Marblevator "Mini" has replaceable complete tracks, the first track being the "Bowl". I'll be designing more tracks soon. And finally, if you don't mind manual labor, the hand cranked version is available. Designed using Sketchup 8, and printed in PLA on a Replicator 2 using Makerware 2.3.3.42 "Fine" and "Standard" settings (see instructions). As a postscript, I used the Makerbot credit card shipped with the Replicator 2 and used for build plate leveling as a size reference. No endorsement of this thing by Makerbot was intended to be expressed or implied. WARNING!!!!!!! See updates in the instructions regarding the motor. Amazon.com has been sending bad motors. I'm searching for a Polulu replacement and will update when I find one. Sorry for the inconvenience, and sorry for recommending Amazon.com. Coming soon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuKmjNzfECM.
