this is a very basic interpretation of the tablet of Akmanrah from night at the museum. i needed a prop for an upcoming Egyptian themed pc and could not find exactly what i was looking for so decided to have a go at trying to design a tablet based on the one from the movie . it is not an exact copy but does the job i wanted it for . i have uploaded it so that if anyone else is in need of something similar then they have at least a starting point i found best to print on side with support from bed only and a raft if you have good cooling . if not print flat to bed (drop it down through bed until there is no gap) and it also prints fine this way . i used eryone silk gold at 0.1 layer height (you need to enable print thin walls in cura to keep all the details if printing flat. i finished with a wet wash of black then a dusting of silver on edges . it will eventually sit as a display piece in the centre of a gold and white Thermaltake tower 900 build . at 100% size it is 150ish mm by around 90mm and took around 14hours at .01 . but i think .02 give acceptable results also at a much reduced time . (it is supposed to look worn and oldPrint SettingsPrinter: Anycubic ChironRafts: YesSupports: YesResolution: 0.1Infill: 20%Filamentbrand: EryoneFilamentcolor: Gold silkFilament_material: PLA+
