Hey all I’d like to show you a little project I’ve been working. If you’d like to get more info, help out or more updates please come to my Discord Server.   This is part of the collection of Lightsabers from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.   This one specifically is Eno Cordova's saber with all its variations.   You can print is from the 3 phases of the game: -          Start -          Double -          Repaired   I’d like to stress that I did not create these models. I extracted them from the game and made them into OBJs. The real credit for the creation of these beautiful models goes to the art team at Respawn Entertainment. These were taken directly from the game with no current modifications so there may be issues printing that I will fix in due course. Below is a Q&A: 1.       What game are they from?    a.       Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – please support the developers and the official release 2.       What's with the images?    a.       You’ve got a colour render as it would look in-game, an actual geometry render and just the Bump/Normal map to show you the surface detail 3.       Whats a bump/normal map?    a.       Simply put it’s a special kind of texture used in games to fake surface detail. It cant be printed as its not part of the model. 4.       Why have you included it if it cant be printed?    a.       Because I know it can be “rebaked” back into the model – I just do know how to do it myself 5.       How big should it be?    a.       I would recommend that the grip is between 30mm – 40mm wide and then scale everything to that. This, of course, depends on your hands. 6.       Have you printed them yourself?    a.       Yes please see the pics :) 7.       Does it need supports?    a.       I would recommend it yes. I use tree supports myself. 8.       There's something wrong with the model    a.       Let me know and I’ll fix it 9.       Will there be a proper version meant for 3D Printing?    a. Yes - I'm working on that myself If you do end up printing this please share it and let me know I'd love to see what people come up with.
